Description
Badis assamensis is a small, peaceful freshwater fish native to Assam, India. It belongs to the Badidae family and is known for its attractive coloration, shy nature, and interesting breeding behavior. It prefers slow-moving, heavily planted aquariums with hiding places and soft to moderately hard water. It is a micro-predator that feeds mainly on small live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, daphnia, and baby brine shrimp.
