Description
Care & Maintenance:
- Water Parameters – To thrive, Black Rose Shrimp require stable freshwater conditions:
- Temperature: 64° – 84° F (17.8° – 28.8° C)
- pH: 6.8 – 7.5
- KH: 0 – 10 dKH
- Minimum Tank Size: 2 gallons
- Tank Setup – These shrimp do well in a well-established aquarium with algae, biofilm, and decaying plant matter for them to feed on. Dark substrates and lower-intensity lighting can help them showcase their full, beautiful color.
Diet:
Black Rose Shrimp are scavengers that feed continuously. In a well-established aquarium, they require minimal additional feeding, as they will naturally forage on algae, biofilm, and decaying plant matter. In less mature tanks, provide high-quality dry foods with a high plant content multiple times a day to supplement their diet.
