Description
Physical Characteristics
- Size: They can grow up to 10 inches (25 cm) in captivity, but typically around 8 inches (20 cm).
- Appearance: They are known for their brilliant metallic blue coloration, with dark brown vertical bands that may become less visible as they age.
Habitat Requirements
- Tank Size: A minimum of 75 gallons is recommended for a single Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. Larger tanks are needed if keeping multiple individuals or adding tank mates.
