Description

- Habitat: They are found in temporary water-filled depressions in lowland floodplains. These pools dry up annually, and the fish lay their eggs in the mud, which hatch when the pools refill with water.

- Temperature: They thrive in water temperatures between 20-24°C (68-75°F).
